    Fell for the info-mmercial! I was watching this on TV and thought wow how cool, I could really use one of these (have a large kitchen laminate floor). I ordered it and took it out of the box and it's wet! I called Bissell costumer service and told him I was angry because first of all I saw this machine for $30 cheaper somewhere else, commercial says you get some things for free, sure you do:( Then I took it out of the box and discover that it has water in it.     We bought a bissel vac n steam 8 weeks ago the product is a total con it's over loud when hoovering does not pick up as stated in the advertisement that should Hoover n mop same time misses all the corners does not fit underneath furniture the Hoover is heavy weight and can't stand up straight unless balanced against the wall after 6 weeks the steam stopped working I am totally annoyed for paying so much for a product that does not do what it's meant to do I am seeking a refund and being told that will e last result as there hoping to replace it which is not good enough who...     I have the Bissell Pro Heat 2x (the 9500). I used it once last year. Took it out to use it and I can’t use the attachments because no water makes its way down the hose. I called and got however did speak to someone who told me since I had the machine for over a year I would have to pay for the repairs. I used it ONCE!! And it was not cheap. Amazing. I don’t even want to get into the Steam Mop which after a year leaks water onto the floor with no steam coming out. I will NEVER buy a Bissell again after this.     If you start at the bottom you can read the correspondence that went back and forth between myself and Bissell "Customer Service". It is fairly apparent that they aren't interested in giving service at all. Also found out from comments on Amazon.com that this is a defective machine and this problem shows up all the time.     I have a bissel powerforce and the roller bar broke after a few months of use, I called the customer service department and they said I must have hit something hard??????? but they would replace it for free, well now it is broke again, I only have 2 rooms with carpet, this product must have something defective to have this part continue to go bad.   • Don't buy a Bissell carpet shampooer



    I bought a Bissell pro-heat carpet shampooer, and it stopped working after 3 uses. I exchanged it for another one at Walmart, and a year later it isn't working. Walmart no longer exchanges or refunds money for Bissell shampooers. I called Bissells customer service, and the problem was more than a trouble shooting problem that could be fixed on the phone. I was given a repair service for my location, called them, they said they have a flat rate charge for fixing Bissells because they continue to break over and over, and the repair people cannot work for free.     I bought a bissell pro heat carpet cleaner in September 07 and had to return it to the store I bought it from 3 months after I bought it because the brush stoped working. I got the new one and used it twice resulting in the same problem. I contacted Bissell and they told me to take it to their repair shop which is 30 miles away from me.     I purchased a bissell 4104 in Feb. of 2009 within 3 weeks the cord showed signs of wear. When I contacted Bissell they asked me to take the vacuum to a local service center. The service center informed me that the product was purchased from a big box store and is junk, it didn't surprise him and that they wouldn't cover the cord. Sure enough Bissell responded that it wasn't covered by warranty and it would need to be repaired at my cost.   • Bad customer service / poor product



    We have had other Bissell products (carpet cleaners) and have always been very pleased. So when it came time to buy a vacuum we decided to try the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Dual Cyclonic Vacuum #3920. What a piece of junk. Within the first 45 days the flex hose collapsed on itself, Bissell replaced it. The worst part about this product is that it gets VERY HOT. The worst part about dealing with the Bissell Company is their customer service department, even when buying belts etc. they have proved to be worthless. Been on the phone for over an hour with Bissell> I have a carpet cleaner (still under warrenty) that will not spray soap. Took to Abbey Lane autorized by Bissell to fix tier machines. What a joke. They replaced all kinds of stuff and it still has the same problem. Called to tell them and was told by the tech I didn't know how to use my machine that it was working fine and I should bring it in for him to show me how to use it. I told him that I had to drive all that way again(I live on the westside they are at Montgomery and Eubank) He tells me he has to drive all the way from Bernalillo. I said you get paid to do that if it bothers him so much he should change jobs. He hung up on me I called and ask to speak to the owner he got on the other line and was a total jerk and laugh and told me he is the only one to work onit and to call bissell. Which I did and spend forever on the phone with no help told to take it back to the jerk even talked to someone named MIca at the corp office and he said I had to take it back to the jerk or mail it to them and they would check it and decide what to do that would take at least a month.I have to go pay for a box and ship it (have no extra money or take it back to an A$$hole. This is what kind of company Bissell is. Take your money and screw you! Please pass this on so people will know not to buy a bissell. Thank all have a great day!!!!
